The company was founded by Arun Kumar in 2002. Arun has over 23 years professional experience in software, consulting and financial services, and has executed complex projects in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia. Prior to founding Kerika, Arun was a founder of the Jiway group of companies in London and Stockholm which created the first pan-European stock market with an integrated back-office.

Arun has also served as E-Business Strategist for Morgan Stanley's equities business in New York and London, and as a director of Polopoly AB in Stockholm.
