Project Collections & Project Folders

A Collection is a set of Projects that you group together for convenience. Kerika comes with three empty Collections to help you get started as a new user:

Kerika comes with three Collections

You can create your own Collection by clicking on the File menu and selecting the New Collection command.

When your friends starts to share their projects with you, Kerika automatically creates special Collections to store their projects. Here's an example of a Collection containing projects from a Kerika user called laptop.testing@kerika.com:

Inside a Collection you can set up as many different Projects as you like:

A Project is a set of Idea Pages that make up an activity: Pages containing a mix of process flows, documents, Web links, pictures, sticky notes, etc.. A Project can have as many Idea Pages as you like, each of which can contain more Pages (and so on...) To create a new Project, click on the File menu and select the New Project command.

A Project can be shared with other people regardless of whether they also use Kerika or not.

Tip: you can put as many Projects inside any of you Collections as you like, but you can't create new Projects inside a Collection that's owned by another user.
