Here are some known problems with Kerika version 1.1. which we haven't fixed yet because they are more complicated than you might expect:
-
Notifications are clunky.
There are too many notifications, mainly because of a old design decision we made to handle permissions at the level of individual items
on a page, rather than at the level of entire project.
And, if you double-click on an entry in the Notifications table, you don't always jump to the relevant page.
-
When you add someone to a project they only get emails of changes that take place from that point onwards; they don't
get all the old materials.
-
When using Conversations, the window showing messages doesn't scroll properly to automatically show the
latest message; instead you need to scroll this by hand.
-
When writing long Notes, the cursor tends to lag behind where you are actually typing, which can get confusing.
-
There isn't any way to change your Kerika ID to reflect a new email address: you have to get a new account set up if you want to use a
different email address.
-
Our ability to support the Linux version is very limited at this time.
