Network Status

Kerika normally works in "online" mode, which means you are connected to our rendezvous server, the storage server, and other Kerika users who happen to be online at the same time. Your network status is shown in the lower-right corner of the screen:

If you want to go offline for a period of time, just click on the Network Status display with your right-mouse button and a small menu pops up that lets you go offline (and come back online later on):

You can go offline if you like

Your Kerika application will normally try to go online automatically whenever you start it up. If you don't want this to happen for some reason – e.g. you know that you won't have Internet access for a while since you are holed up in mountain cabin – you can turn off this setting.

Tip: if you decide to deliberately go offline for a period, don't forget to come back online or you might feel lonely and forgotten by your friends and colleagues...
