Sharing your Projects

You can share Projects with anyone you like, regardless of whether your buddies also use Kerika or not. There are two easy ways to share a project:

  • Click on the File menu and select the Share Project command; or

  • Click on the Share Project button on the Tool Bar:

Both of these will have the same result: they will open the Project Team panel of the Sidebar:

To add people to a project team, simply type in their email addresses:

Add a person to a project team

When you add a person to a project team, Kerika checks to see if your buddy is already registered as a Kerika subscriber. If so, Kerika will send your buddy a complete set of project files to bring her up to speed without further delay. (If your buddy is not online when you add her to the project, Kerika will use the Storage Server, or your Private Server if you have one set up, to hold the project information until your buddy shows up online again.)

If the person you just added to the team is not currently a Kerika subscriber, Kerika will automatically arrange to send this person email updates whenever the project is updated by you or any other member of the project team who is also a Kerika subscriber.

Removing someone from a project team is easy: just select the person from the Project Team list and press the Delete key on your keyboard. If you remove someone from a project team they will no longer get updates when the project's contents get modified, but they will still have copies of the project materials that they had up to the point they were kicked off the team.
