Some folks regularly work with more than one computer: maybe a work computer and a home
computer, or maybe a laptop they carry around and a desktop they leave at home.
Kerika can make sure both computers are properly synch'ed up at all
times, so that you have a complete set of project information, files, pictures,
notes, etc. on both machines. Here's how:
-
Set up two different Kerika accounts, using two different email addresses.
Both email addresses must be real, of course, but it's easy to sign up for free
email addresses.
Let's say your two email addresses are User_A@example.com and User_B@example.com.
-
One one machine (
Computer A ), download Kerika and use one of your
Kerka accounts, say User_A@example.com, to set up your Kerka profile.
-
One the other machine (
Computer B ), download Kerika and use
your other Kerika ID (User_B@example.com).
-
Now, whenever you create a new project on either machine, just add the other user ID
to the project team. For example, if you create a
project on Computer A, just add User_B to the project team, and if you
create a project on Computer B, just add User_A to that project's team.
Kerika will take care of the rest: whenever any projects on either computer get updates,
which could be changes made by you or by anyone else on the project team, your other
Kerika ID will automatically get these updates as well, since your other ID is a member of
your team. It doesn't even matter if one of your computers was offline or powered off
when you made your changes to the other computer: Kerika's
storage server will automatically step in to hold your updates until your other
machine comes back online.
Now both machines are kept in synch without you having to do any work at all!
