The Tool Bar sits just below the Menu Bar, near the top of the Kerika screen:

The Tool Bar normally contains the following buttons:

• Backward: this can be used to navigate between Idea Pages.


• Forward: this can be used to navigate between Idea Pages.


• Collections: this takes you to all your Project Collections.


• Project Tools: this lets you sketch out projects on your Idea Pages.
   
  

  



• Share Project: lets you share your project with other people.


• Send Email Updates: this sends project updates to team members who are not Kerika users.


• Sidebar: this brings up the Sidebar, which lets you manage documents, share projects, attach notes to items on pages, and share items across multiple projects.

You can customize your Tool Bars by right-clicking on the Tool Bar:

You can choose how your Tool Bar buttons are presented:

• Text & Icon: this is the default presentation.


• Icon Only: this is a more compact presentation.


• Text Only: this is perhaps the most compact presentation of all!

You can buttons to your Tool Bar if you like:

• Refresh: this repaints your Idea Page.


• New Project: this lets you quickly add a new Project (i.e. start up a new project) within the Collection that you are currently working with.


• Conversations: this lets you do instant messaging with other Kerika users who are online at the same time as you.


• Send Documents: this lets you control when document updates are sent from your computer to the rest of the project team.

Tip: the Conversations button is handy to add to the Tool Bar if you like instant messaging!
