Your browser won't run Kerika very well

It looks like your browser is either out of date, or doesn't support SVG graphics. All modern browsers should have built-in support for SVG. We suggest you update your browser, or consider one of the following great alternatives:

Just click on the icons to get to the download page

  • Internet Explorer 9
  • Firefox 5+
  • Safari 5+
  • Opera 11+
  • Chrome 13+

You can print out a formal copy our Privacy Policy (PDF) if you like, but here are the key points to note:

  • We don't sell, loan, rent, or gift your personal data to any other companies.
  • We are not in the advertising business.
  • We set up your Kerika Account using your Google ID. When you sign up for Kerika, we ask you to login using your Google ID (e.g. your Gmail address). Google gives us your name and email address (and that's all we get from them), and this is used to set up your Kerika Account. When you use Google Docs with Kerika — for example, to upload a document from your computer to a Kerika page — Google Docs will ask you separately if you want to grant access to Kerika. You can revoke the access you have granted to Kerika at any time, by using your Google account settings. Google has no access to your Kerika project or account information
  • We never even see your credit card information; that's handled entirely by Google Checkout.
  • We use cookies to identify you as a particular user, and to remember which pages you were last working on. This helps us present the right information when you visit your Kerika pages again, or if you do a "refresh" or "reload" (F5 key) of your browser while using Kerika. We don't use any "Flash cookies" or "supercookies" or weird stuff like that.
  • We collect usage data, in aggregate form, to improve the product. For example, we might collect information to know how many users use a particular browser, or whether any particular parts of the application are used more than others. This helps us improve the product. We don't read your documents or browse your projects .
  • We don't store your documents: they are stored in your Google Docs account, in your own name. We don't own these documents; you do. We store your account information, the structure of individual projects, and your photo and account logo.
  • We use Amazon's hosting services to store the project and acccount information. Access to these servers is limited to our engineers, and we rely upon Amazon to safeguard the actual computers. We currently use Amazon's servers located in the United States, but this may change as the Kerika user community grows.
  • You will occasionally get informational emails from us when we introduce new features or make significant changes to existing features.
  • You will get emails from other Kerika users: these are generated when people invite you to join their projects, or ask to join your projects. If someone is spamming you, please let us know and we will spank them.
  • Things change. As we improve our software, we may find that we need different kinds of data in order to provide new services. When that happens, we will let you know by email, and by updating the formal Privacy Policy document.
